Today ...

This morning we awoke to highways closed across Manitoba,

the wind gusting heartily bringing with it extreme windchills,

and weather warnings to stay off the roads and indoors.

It all sounded like good news in this household ...

the bug that has been making the rounds of town

has hit us HARD ... I lumbered through yesterday

and today have been sipping tea, juice, and cup'o'soups

while trying to stay warm ...

Unfortunately we're NOT the only household

struck with these bugs ... it's running rampant!!

The only healthy one here is Beetle ...

I wonder what she'll cook the rest of us for supper !!
