And even worse that THAT ... he was killed for stirring things up ...
The political and religious authorities HATED the guy ... they plotted to have him arrested, tried and convicted ... and thenTHEY HAD HIM KILLED !!!!
Thankfully God wasn't done with him ...
Unfortunately, the church seems to have forgotten the reality that lies behind the myth ... we've recreated Jesus into a two dimensional figure who lacks depth and who is removed fromhis background and context to such a degree that our image of him would be unrecognizable to Jesus himself ...
Maybe one day we'll reclaim the fullness of our founder and return to being the movement he inadvertently founded ...
