And then there was ONE ...

One of the last two surviving Canadian World War One veterans has died ...
Now from the over 600 000 men and women who served from Canada in the Great War, only one lone survivor remains ...

At the age of 106 Percy "Dwight" Wilson who served as a bugler in World War One and an Officer with the Perth Regiment of Stratford Ontario in World War Two, has died ...

Today we are one step closer to losing the living link to the "War to End ALL Wars." It is an inevitable fact ... but it is one that should be noted nonetheless ...

Rest in Peace Mr. Wilson, and to you and all your comrades - Thanks.

At the going down of the sun,
and in the morning,
we shall remember them.
