Today ...

Today M, Ms H, and Beetle took their bikes up to

Riding Mountain National Park on the first outing of spring.

On the way Ms H spotted not one, not two,

but three moose standing in a swamp along the highway.

Later they saw some deer,

and a HUGE variety of birds and other wildlife

that herald the arrival of spring.

The one regret ... no camera to record the moose or

the other signs of spring. But we heard all about it at the dinner table.
