Flat Stanley's Great Ice Fishing Adventure ...

Today Flat Stanley went ice fishing with Ms. H, Beetle and their friends L, R and wee C. They went out to the cluster of ice huts on the north end of Minnedosa Lake, the lake formed by the dam across the Little Saskatchewan River (a tributary of the Assiniboine River).

Stanley reports that he had a great time in the sunshine trying his hand at catching some of the fish that lurk under the ice ...

Stanley had his share of goodies and pop ... but he didn't try the appetizer in the plastic container on the table in front of him ...

It was kind of hazardous for him walking around outside the ice hut ... luckily the wind wasn't blowing or he might have been on to other non-planned solo adventures ...

Beetle and L, showing Stanley the fish they caught ... the day was a success!!
